Privacy Policy

Walan Sushi · Nyali, Mombasa, Kenya · Last updated 15 July 2026

This policy explains what personal information Walan Sushi collects when you use our online ordering site, how we use it, and who we share it with. We keep it plain — no unnecessary legalese.

1. Who we are

Walan Sushi is a sushi restaurant located at 1st Avenue, Nyali, Mombasa, Kenya. We operate an online ordering website that lets you order food for delivery, pickup, or dine-in.

Contact: +254 796 558 336 (phone and WhatsApp)

2. What information we collect

When you place an order, we collect:

  • Your name — to address your order and confirm delivery.
  • Your phone number — to contact you about your order.
  • Your delivery location — for delivery orders, we record the map-pin coordinates and/or the address you enter.
  • Your order details — the items, sizes, quantities, promo codes applied, and the total amount.
  • Your payment method choice — whether you paid via M-Pesa or cash. We do not store your M-Pesa PIN or account credentials. M-Pesa payments go directly to our till number (3654257) via Safaricom — we only record that the payment method was M-Pesa.

We do not collect email addresses unless you provide one voluntarily.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Process and fulfil your order — delivery, pickup, or dine-in.
  • Contact you about your order: to confirm it, update you on its status, or resolve issues.
  • Calculate and charge the correct delivery fee based on your location.
  • Send order confirmation and status notifications (SMS, WhatsApp, or email where applicable).

We do not use your information for marketing without your consent. We do not sell your data to anyone.
